I Do Not Know
| Relentlessly searching. What is it that we are seeking? Is it really clarity or the mastery of the mind? Is this perpetual search not just a instrument of escape from ourselves? A gratifying, agreeable, convenient sanctuary. I do not know. Such humble words to embrace. The mind cannot be capable of saying, “I do not know” while it is in a state of comparison, as it is just bare recognition. Only in a state in which the mind is free from text books and quotations and religions can anything be discovered. The one who says, “I know”, can he ever experience something which is not accumulated? The mind must put aside all knowledge that it has acquired, completely alone, all movement come to an end. Only then can the mind say, “I do not know”. |
